You are invited to take part in a research study called Sharing the Stories. You are being asked to participate because you are an expert in your experience as a young caregiver. Your voice helps us learn how programs impact participants, their communities and the systems they live in.
You are invited to complete to participate in an online focus group or an interview. Focus groups or interviews may take between 30 to 60 minutes. You will receive $15 (Amazon gift card) for your time. You will be asked about your needs so we can learn how to better support youth in caregiving roles, in rural communities.
Participation in this study is up to you (voluntary). You can choose not to take part in this study. Whatever you choose will not have an impact on your participation in your program.
This research is led by the Students Commission of Canada (SCC), a national charitable organization. The SCC purposely works with others. We do so to help create a world where young people are valued and heard and their ideas for improving themselves, the lives of their peers and communities are put into action.
