Community Living Ontario’s ‘Siblings with a Cause’ movement is a group of sibling advocates seeking to support their loved ones who have a disability. The group meets bi-monthly to reflect on their experiences, offer support, and exchange resources. The youth have also developed resources such as “A Guidebook for Siblings” to teach youth how to advocate for a more inclusive Canada.
If you are a youth between the ages of 14-29 and would like to join a Siblings with a Cause meet-up session, please contact Jennifer Palermo (jpalermo@communitylivingontario.ca) for more details.
