Hey eveyrone!!
My name is Micaela and I am a young caregiver. I became connected with OCO a few years ago when they made (and continue to make) a safe space for me to talk about my caregiving experience. When hearing about the creation of a Young Caregivers website, I was overjoyed! When I first started my caregiving journey, I didn’t have resources like this website. So being involved in the creation of this platform was something that I felt extremely grateful for. It also gave me hope that when I need support, or when others who are young caregivers need help, that this website will be a place where I can get the answers I need, when I need them.
I hope that sometime soon, this forum will allow me to meet others like me, so feel free to comment on this post and tell me more about you!
