University of Waterloo – Looking for College & University students who provide unpaid care in Southwestern Ontario

From the University of Waterloo:

We are conducting a research study on young adults’ experiences of providing unpaid care during their college and university years.

Any student who is aged 18–25 and is currently enrolled in a college or university program in Southwestern Ontario is eligible to participate in this study.

Participation involves a one-on-one interview (about 60 minutes) conducted either online via MS Teams or in person on the University of Waterloo’s campus, scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Participants will also be asked to complete a demographic information survey.

The study seeks to better understand how caregiving responsibilities impact the lives, education, and well-being of young adults during a major period of transition. It has been reviewed and received ethics clearance through a University of Waterloo Research Ethics Board.
