Young Caregivers of Stroke Survivors in Southeastern Ontario

The Stroke Network of Southeastern Ontario is conducting a survey to help increase our understanding of how young caregivers of stroke survivors could be supported in the community.
To do this, we are interviewing caregivers 18 years of age and under who live in southeastern Ontario and are involved in caring for a stroke survivor.
The results of these interviews will be used as a first step towards identifying and developing supports and services to meet the needs of young caregivers in the community. No names or other identifying information will be attached to the answers provided during the interviews. Parents may participate in the interview. Parents must provide consent for the child’s participation.
The interview would last about 20-30 minutes. Interviews can be conducted by phone or through an on-line video meeting such as Zoom depending on the participant’s preference.
Participation is voluntary.
